Well it really depend on if you want to breed them or not. If you do wish to breed them then the best fish to have with them are pencil fish and not tetras as pencils are not as good at eating apisto fry.If your not that worried about breeding then any small tetra will be okay.

The short answer is NO. But the long answer end up being a question of if you want them to breed. A pH or 7 will not kill or cause any detrimental effect on the fish but if the fish does spawn the eggs will not hatch.

No it's just blood worm and not just in it's live form but also frozen. Pretty much all other small live food is fine.

It would probably be okay to feed small amouts too a full grown adult just not evey day. But IMO it is best avoided.

Sorry may be I'm getting this all wrong or may be i am not. For me an ecosystem is self sustaining. With little of no influence from another source. By adding CO2 you are feeding the plants. So why not forget the whole idea and feed the fish as well. That will increase the population of fish.

Sorry but it has been proved that Ph and temperature does effect on some fish. Ph has an effect on PELVICACHROMIS specie and temperature having an effect on Apistogramma. High the temp the greater the chance of males.

As it is a single male I would say it should be okay. However They to grow quite large for an apistogramma. If you do get yourself a female then I would put them in the other tank.

The best mothod for ridding ich in dwarf is to raise the tank above 30c for about a week or untill all signs of the ich have gone. It works for all fish.
