I have read that my dwarf cichlids (cockatoos) are "intolerant" to medications. Has anyone ever tried to treat them with ich meds? I have a small ich outbreak in my tank, and am treating with Rid-Ich before it gets worse. I just need to know if I should clone my 10 gallon (not the ich tank), and keep my harem (1 male, 3 females) in a SMALL 2-3 gallon tank for a week. Will they be ok with the meds or not? They are not showing any signs of ich at the moment, but they don't alsways give me a great view (a few of my females are yellow).

EDIT: They are acting normally, and are coming to the surface for food.

I've posted there about the ich istelf, but wanted to ask here about how the dwarf cichlids would respond to the treatment.

The best mothod for ridding ich in dwarf is to raise the tank above 30c for about a week or untill all signs of the ich have gone. It works for all fish.
