yea they can nip fin sbut if smaller than the gouramis they should do fine

well i had female bettas n the tank but they pickedo the mollies and i had to move them to aother tank

i already have a Dalmatian molly and a normal looking one and an aquatic frog its a 10 gallon aquarium ph is 7.5 and medium :S

gouramis do very well in pairs

i have platies and mollies with my dwearf gourami and shes only mean to my honey gourami who is mi newborn fish but they dont caust harm but will chase each other around i guess it just depends on the individual personality of the fish

i own mollies and dwarf gouramis in with my betta an dmy mollies are not even an inch long and they school around my betta and he dosent eat them newaz i fyou have a strong current than its too strong for th betta :rolleyes:

well thats a damn lie my betta dosent have a lid on his cage he dosent jump out he does when he eats though but not enough to to need a lid

sorry i have bettas too and its not that you did anything wrong but betas dont last more that 3 monhts without certian aspects that need to be aquired and im sure you had these things but this stuff happens

they are probally jeweled chiclicds or maybe an unknown type of gourami made by crossbreeding

yes u can put betas in with other fish just not bettas i do the same thing

hi and i have a male betta and he is a striking demon to wards bettas but he dosent hurt my gouramis at all so it just depends on the fish :rolleyes:

hello im new to this site but not fish keeping and every one tells me that bettas need to be kept in tanks by them selves which i think is so cruel and i have gouramis in mi beta what does everyone think

i have betas and im not sure if it is or not but it looks like china disease which is rare but i recently had 2 betas die of this disease please understand how serious i am about this there i sno cure and hopefully if u use a 10 day salt bath it will help sorry for any stress this may cause and...

sorry way 2 small you should get at least a 5 gallon and turn it into a tera or guppy tank and the only thing to put in a 10 liter tank is betas

ok we need to know all about the tank and its inhabitants and we need to know the stats but to me it sounds like anchorworm or another parasite :sad:

hey i'm not as new to this stuff so i'm gonna tell you somthing all you need to do is go to the library and research the fish you want and it will tell you all you need to know and for a medium sized tank i would go with 3 mollies and about 6-9 tetras :good:
