heya !

Im new to the site. I joined because there are problems with my fish.

one of my bronze corydoras was acting strangely by swimming around frantically and scratching it's self against the sides of the tank. it then went still and sank to the bottom on it's back where it has stayed breathing rapidly. about an hour before this happened I had added some new fish. Glass catfish. does anyone know what I could do and what has caused it?

cheers

Size of tank in gallons or litres.
How many fish and which type,
Water stats in ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, and ph.
Is there enough aeration in the tank.
Anys signs of flicking and rubbing besides the cory.
Check the body and gills over for excess mucas.

Immediate water change and increase aeration.

ok we need to know all about the tank and its inhabitants and we need to know the stats but to me it sounds like anchorworm or another parasite
