We think its horrific because we care about fish and enjoy looking after them its just the same in the UK, i could seriously see traders selling key-fob-fish here too! They do at fair grounds and make enough money. Goldfish are looked down on everywhere in the world. Its really sad

Nice idea i might get zebras but i wasnt planning on added all of these fish as soon i have my cycled tank as Otos are really water sensitive. I dont really like catfish but i do like Otos so im gettin a couple of them. :) Does anyone know if i might get away with the shark?

If I ran and LFS I would just tell the truth about fishless cycling and stuff like that. Personaly I would think that you would get MORE money for flogging someone a Master testing kit and ish! Then customers would come pouring in when you get reccomendations

I would just leave the plants out of it for a second, They take up ammonia that bacteria needs when cycling the tank. Whether its lights on or off it doesnt really matter :l But if you do decide to leave your lights on be sure not to leave them on for too long as this can encourage the growth of...

Yea its probably the water quality. For ammonia and nitrite nothing that isnt zero is good Good Luck with the tank!

If they are small babies they might have had their tails nipped by one off the other fish or the 'mystery fish' (can we have a pic of that please :) ) I dont know about the size groups they like to be in but I usually keep in a ratio of 1 male to every 2/3 females.

I dont anything about mutant fish, dyed fish or pierced fish is attractive I'd much rather have the orginal. Just don't buy these fish so the shop keeper knows that caring fish keepers dont want to have cruely treated fish in our tanks

I know this wont help but that is wierd! Are you sure their isnt a leak somewhere and somethign in the tank is blacoking this time around?
