OK, thanks. I have quite a lot of bogwood, etc in the tank. I have a BN in there at the moment, do you think this would cause a problem or would it be OK?

I'm thinking of getting some Clown Plecs for my 140 Gallon soon, but I was wondering how many to get, (I've read 2-3 but I've also read to get a group of 6?) I wanted to know what sort of price they are as well cause a lot of plecos are pretty expensive, haha.

It looks like they're all males to me.

I have a Tetratec APS one and I can only really hear the bubbles, rather than the pump.

In my tank, I used a piece of glass cut in a triangle shape and siliconed it into the corner of the tank. I then cut a clear piece of hose pipe in half and siliconed it onto the edge just to make sure that they don't cut themselves. I also siliconed some rocks and a flat piece of mopani wood...

I'd add some more plants but I don't know which...(I'm not very good with plants :/ ) and I second 'Snooks1!' on the driftwood.

I use aquarium silicon on the edges of the background that you can't see through the tank.

I used to keep my tank in the conservatory but it became overrun with algae and in the summer months the water temperature raised way too much, so I'm never gonna' keep a tank in the conservatory again... :lol:

I chose a dark blue background because I didn't want it too dark or too bright.

In my 6 foot tank, I used to have 2 clown loach and rarely ever saw them; I then raised their numbers to 5 and since then they have been constantly active and are always swimming around the front of the tank. There is also a RTBS in with them. The biggest clown loach and the RTBS occasionally...
