I have 2 dwarf honey gouramis with both neons and glowlight tetras, they're fine together. I used to have guppys which were also fine. for bottom feeders - how about bristlenose plecs? Love mine, Just an idea! Not sure about the others as no experience with these. Hope this helps. Laura.x

Hi, i have a nano tank, with 2 clownfish, a bicolour blenny, and a dragonet, plus snails and cleaner shrimp. my question is... I am wanting to add an emerald/mithrax crab, as I have bubble algae in my tank and dont want it to spread, and also hair or green algae which I pulled some of out, but...

A nice looking tank - Love the slate! With regards your plec - try feeding it courgette or cucumber weighed down with plant anchors. Alternatively, algae wafers. Laura

hi, no idea about your plants - just thought i'd say that your tank is looking nice! I have the same problem with the tannis - tried soaking my bogwood for AGES!! Still tans the water, the fish like it though so that's fine! Good luck with the plants!

I agree - go and buy a timer - they're cheap and saves you forgetting to turn lights on and off! Plus would be ideal for when you're away. Laura

Looking good! Lots of bn babies! Although if that's a floating tank - they wont stay in there long - I tries it once and they escaped back into the main tank fairly quickly!

As for beginner fish, I'd go with glowlight tetra's, that's the fish I started with, and they're very hardy, I've still got all 5 I started with. I'd say a large school for your tank though as it's a nice size, would look good too! Also at a later stage a nice plec would be good! Laura

Hi, Just another idea - it's very hard to catch them as I sell mine when they're big enough too! Get a jam jar, and put some cucumber in - the babies should go in to eat and you can catch them easier - plus they'll come out of hiding! You won't get them all this way, but if you get a few then...

Yeah I feed mine frozen brine shrimp - my clowns especially love it but my bicolour blenny also comes out for any food!

Hiya, love the new pic of the mandarin - much better!! :good: As for your blenny - I feed mine flake and brine shrimp and he loves it! Try some brine shrimp or good quality flake - mine always come out for food - no matter what! Nice pictures too! Good luck with the feeding issue.
