New 240 Litre Tank

Just got my new tank, have started a fishless cycle today, here are my pics.

Thanks, got it from a&d aquatics, its a local store were i live cost me £30. Did check on the internet but could not find one anywere.

Ooh that looks good! the fish will love the plane as a hideout!

I've seen one before in a fish and garden cetnre near wakefield, but it's too big for my tank!

Will be good to see another picture with fish.

Just got to be patient now and wait for the tank to cycle, still not sure what fish i want to stock it with yet any ideas would be welcome

As for beginner fish, I'd go with glowlight tetra's, that's the fish I started with, and they're very hardy, I've still got all 5 I started with.

I'd say a large school for your tank though as it's a nice size, would look good too!

Also at a later stage a nice plec would be good!

i usually hate ornaments like that but I love the plane! £30 seems cheap, a tiny one would be at least a tenner around here.

Glad you all like my crashed plane, great reply joecoral.

Just frustrating waiting for the tank to cycle, i want fish!! still cant make my mind up on what type lol.

get harlequin rasboras there hardier than most tetra and are more active
