Is it ok to shorten a filter tube a few inches? I bought an Eclipse 6g w/ built in filtration. Does the suction need to be near the bottom for optimum filtration? I just wondering as it would give the tank a cleaner look but I don't want to sacrifice water quality any.

My concern is overstocking. At one Petco there were about 100+ in cups stacked 3 cups high and 3 cups deep. Probably newly stocked. At another Petco about 25+ w/ limited shelf space. I'd like to here what numbers they sell each week.

I have this problem. My solution is to upgrade to 3-6 gallon. If your stuck with only a 1 gallon, I'd get larger rock gravel/substrate thats easy to clean.

Here's a video of him flaring. He thinks the airbubbles are his bubble nest. Vid is a little dark. He did this for about 10 minutes. He was sick earlier this week with either a bacteria or fungus infection. I took out the live plants and cleaned everything well. He perked up and seems normal.

One thing to check is dust blocking the gc fan. I had some excessive buildup between the intake/gc processor. My card was running at 111c, after the cleaning it now runs at 59c. You need to unscrew the metal plate/logo to check. (depends on the card)

I own a psp, its nice but playing more than an hour or so can get a little boring. If you travel a lot it would be a good choice. The games are decent, movies look good. There's also a whole scene where you can run homebrew, play nintendo, genesis, snes games. Convert dvds to psp video. etc...
