testing new lighting for taking pictures clearer. this is a male i got from sq bettas last week.

i gave my daughter 3 females I breed that stayed with 4 gold fish so yes they can. gold fish can be kept in higher temp than most people think. daughter tank was kept at around 24-5 degrees C.

arent sea monkeys fresh water rather than salt water. arent they also called fairy shrimp. could be wrong.

A few picture of daddy (hopefully) with his eggs and nest. found a new setting on camera that uses heaps of memory but give higher quality picture. hope you agree. :rolleyes: almost forgot to say, the female is a White HM (one of my Imports) and dad I bred myself. he is a HM X CT cross.

number 2 isnt giving its all for that pic and you cant see through the top. so i will still say HM and yes and Butterfly but not a Halfsun. fringe extensions like that are very common in HM and far from makes it a Halfsun (which is currently an unrecognised tail type.)

are you the person that got these of kevs site. if so just ask kev as he has seen them close up. but i would say both are HM.

also if you can raise temp to 28 degrees that will speed up the cycle.

Hope you have a lid/cover for that tank. if not lower the water lever, as betta can easly jump that high. :crazy:

ur not going to get enough flow to filter and heat the tank correctly.

he is the biggest thing in his tank. there are 2 plecs, 8 cory, 2 shrimp, 10 apple snails. he is about 4 1/2 inch long. i have been dropping his food right in front of his face, so he is getting food ok.

do they have bad eye sight as he/she seems to swim past food before he/she notices it, and turns back to eat it.

the £32 is a con as i know how much it cost to send them to kev. they will be sent in his next shipment which is likely to be months from now (but dont hold me to it) and it only cost this seller around $5 usd per fish to add to Kevs shipments. it cost me £110 to have 25 pairs added to kevs...

i use apple snail and the waste is easier to suck up that food waste and scum which the snails eat.

PH plays a part in this. the higher the PH the more females, the lower the PH the more males you get. was told this by a thai breeder and i have tested it and seems to be true. a PH of 7 seem to give a even mix from what i have tried.

well i got 25 Pairs of HM imported for me through Kev at KG bettas (he acted as a transhipper) and total came to £240 including shipment to me from kev. which works out at less than £10 the pair, and they are fair higher quality that this seller is selling. them CT are no way breeding quality.

99.9999999% of all bettas sold in the UK are Imported. he could have got them from a wholesaler. the crown tail still look like the ones you get for £3.50 at any LFS, but i would bet the HM are more like SD sold to him as HM.

yes you can cancel. click on bid historty. at the bottom left there should be an option to retract bid, click and follow intructions. has to be done before the last 12 hours of auction or cant be dont after.

I wouldnt bother bidding on any of this sellers betta at them prices. looks like he went to the LFS and came home and put them on ebay. £8.99 for a LFS quality CT. cancel your bid as Kev at KG bettas will have his Imported Stock on his site over next couple of days and they will be around the...

most are metalic green or the same as her but solid copper bodies. she was the only marble.

she is one i breed myself. the red/green comes from her dad a red cambodian with a small amount of green/blue in his fins and her mum was a solid copper. she is 4 months old and i just being spawned with a solid copper.

well time is almost near that i will have to decide which males/females im keeping from this spawn. have only decided on 1 so far most have some mabling which isnt my favour but still look quiet good. so far 4 males a HM with 7 just under and havent jarred the rest yet so looking good so far.
