My New Betta!

I'm so excited I just finished setting up my first "real" betta tank and went down to the LFS (work) and spent some time choosing this active little crown tail! He's adorable and so energetic! Next to get some females to fill my other betta tank.

Any ideas for a name appreciated

I need to get some small plants for his tank I think.

He's pretty, I had a crowntail male that looked just like that. He was called Jazz

Hope you have a lid/cover for that tank. if not lower the water lever, as betta can easly jump that high.

He reminds me of "fireworks", he's beautiful. I have a new baby too, (3 months old), a purple and lavender BFCT from Thailand, his name is Vito DaBetta, little brother of Louie "Two Bubbles" DaBetta. Louie is my first betta, first fish of any kind, and he's a VT. I guess you're never too old to get hooked, I'm 55 years old this month. I've found out that they are like potatoe chips, you can't have just one, lol, and this all just started a month ago when I got Louie.

I do, it's visible in the first picture, there's a small gap but he's been ok so far.

I also had a small filter in there, he was playing in the stream but I decided to turn it off this morning before work, when I got home low and behold a nice bubble nest! So I think I'll remove it and use it as a powerhead in my other tank.

I'm getting a few females soon, might try my hand at breeding some little bettas not sure if my betta tanks are big enough though

I think I'm going to call him Sparks, he has a feisty personality

"Sparks" is a great name for him, see I told you he looks like fireworks, lol
