So what your saying is then... The carbon pad is pretty useless unless i want to use it to remove "nastys" and medication from the water? Its the mechanical filter where the majority of the bacteria lives right?

There not looking bloated or anything, when they swim the look absolutly fine, just when there idling at the bottom they wobble to one side (towards the filter) then get back upright again. I take it from your last comment there you are suggesting a partial water change?

Sounds liek what you need to do is set yourself up a tropical aquarium, and fit in some fake bits of coral. Widely avalible.

One thing i notice about your picture is your heater, you really should have it at an angle. At the moment heat from your heater is rising upwards and turning the thermostat off prematurly, thus causing the water to not be quite at the right temperature. Im not saying that its wrong to have it...

Just got home from work, and it seems my tank has been very busy. Water is alot clearer that this morning, so im guessing my filter is beginning to gain more and more bacteria to clean up the water. Will see how things are tomorrow, maybe ill do a 25% water change with some dechlorinated water...

lol, thats not the fish i have in my tank. maybe i got conned into buying a baby Normal angel fish that going to grow rather large! Tho you say they need alot of swimming room, mine dont seem too active, guess thats something to do with the current water conditions

forgot to say, they get one small dose of food a day, as i am aware that overfeeding can cause cloudyness OK ill get the stats up soon as. They are only small angels, not the full size ones, and the lady in the shop did say that they shouldnt grow no bigger, just so you know they are around...

I have a decent flow of air using a large airstone to the rear of the tank. I have used the same interpet stuff in my partners parents tank and theres is fine, crystal clear.

That doesnt explain why my water is cloudy though does it? I figured from what i been reading around that there maybe too much bacteria in the water? And should clear itself at some point? Or maybe use some Interpet Filteraid to help clean things up?
