Id really like to get a Betta put in my tank, but im not sure wether my current fish will attack him/her.
I have a 65ltr tank fully cycled and working a charm. In the tank are 6 Tiger Barbs, 6 Sword Tails, and 2 Silver Mollies.
My biggest concern is the tiger barbs.

Anyone have any advice, will the betta survive or not?

Thanks

From experience, i wouldnt go there again. Bettas are territorial generally and will chase away other fish. Mine attacked my platy's so i wouldnt feel safe for your swordys

There's a good chance that your Barbs will fin nip the Betta. I know some people have had success keeping a Betta in a community tank but personally I would get him a little 5 Gallon tank and keep him in that. :)

Well you would have to have a mellow betta and you can't tell very well at the lps. And those tiger barbs would probably fin nip him if he didn't attack the other fish.

Hmmm if I were you I wouldn't risk it, those tiger barbs will probably put tons uf unneeded stress on the betta.

OK thanks everyone for your advice, i think in time ill get another "Betta Tank" setup, something smaller like stang1 mentioned!

Tiger barbs are some of the most aggressive barbs around and will probably nip your bettas fins to shreds. Your other fish don't sound like they would be a problem though.

i had a betta in my community tank the betta was fine with the other fish but the swordtail bullied the betta, the barbs would deff nip bettas fin.
