Cloudy Water Problem

Yes cycling a tank with make them listless and less active, plus they might not make it as they have to go through the ammonia and nitrite process which can take alot out of the hardy fish.
Even causing the immune system to shut down and desease set in.
I would add two teaspoons of salt to the tank to help the gills.
Take some water from the tank add the salt, stir till it's disolved then add to the tank.

OK that seems a little strange but ill follow your advice! Got to pack up and leave now as im in work (INTERPET FUNNILY ENOUGH), ill keep posting my progress, thanks for you help so far!

Cheers
Rich

Ok, good luck.

Just got home from work, and it seems my tank has been very busy. Water is alot clearer that this morning, so im guessing my filter is beginning to gain more and more bacteria to clean up the water. Will see how things are tomorrow, maybe ill do a 25% water change with some dechlorinated water and biological supplement to help things along.

As for the angels... They seem overly happy! Swimming around happily, following my face around the tank! Happy Fish and Happy Days!

Well for now but you got along way to go.
Good luck.

Hopefully with the help of the Filterstart supplement its not going to be too long lol!

Thanks again for all your help and advice!

Well thought id best give an update. Today i added some of Interpets Filter Start. Its made the water go a bit cloudy again. Im sure the filter will soon pick up pace and have my water crystal clear in a few days!

Wilder... Before you said Angel Fish were no good to start the cycle... What would you reccomend?

To be honest a fishless cycle.
No hardy fish for that tank size even a danio need a larger tank.

And for a fishless cycle i need to get my hands on soem pure ammonia? Or is the Filter Start from interpet practically the same? Its says on the bottle... "Start the filtration bacteria colony to create a healthy aquarium"

Also

"Filter start is a bacteria culture which helps rapidly start up the waste breakdown process in the filter. This process is essential for a healthy aquarium."

Any ideas if thats gonna be ok to use as a fishless cycle?

You can use that while your fish are in the tank.
But for a fishless cycle you need pure ammonia, jeyes can get it from boots, chemist, b&q, hardware stores.

Ok, ill keep my eye out for that then! Just incase thats going to be the path i will need to follow!

Thanks once again for your advice!!
