I'm a little confused, did you have to buy live rock special i don't know if I have never seen a feather duster or any living come out of my live rock for that matter? is this common?

You have to use a a knife and pry them open. I will agree, it is a art, alot of people I know cut them selves. You can also Soak them in garlic to they sell a little jar of minced garlic. I just chop a bunch of clams up and soak it in the garlic juices its good for your fish.

Thanks for your input. So the blue ring doesn't show its color much? i would like to get a octo, i like the fact that octopus are so smart. i don't know the first thing about them. What kind of octo would you recommend.

hey guys well I am thinking of getting another tank. 70-120 gallon. I was reading up about wet dry filters, but don't you have to drill the tank for that? my questions is what other filters do i have opinions for and what other way can i a accomplish my nitrogen cycle with out live rock/sand...

the huma huma triger is the least aggesive trigger, so iyour going to get a trigger then that would be one of the ones t get. as far as other fish, the huma humas wont bother or try and eat anything that is the same size of bigger then them. they might pick on a bit but, not kill.

what protein skimmer would you guys recomend for a 30 gallon.

I have a 30 gallon that has a clown and 2 dams and I was told the rule of thumb was 1 pound of live rock for ever 2 pounds. I have about 8-10 pounds and I plan on adding a new fish soon but can i add live rock in after i have already added fish?

Hey guys, New to the site, i saw this and i just had to post in. I do have one, there not as hard to keep as you think. Just make sure they eat before yo buy them. They are great and a fish I have looked at for hours.
