Hi BOD, 35 UKGALL 36"X18"X15"

6 assorted cats, 6 platies, and 3 cardinal tetras, I'll be going to the lfs soon I have a credit note they gave me for a pair of plecs I sold them which had grown to big for my tank. I think I will buy some shrimp if they have any. ;)

Hi, BOD, I've had it for about a year now but added a few more plants 3 months ago the problem that I find with new plant is getting rid of the snail eggs no matter how well I clean the plants a few weeks later there's snails. which why I am reluctant to buy new plants.

You could buy a made up set of plants for the size of your tank, Most plant retailers sell made up sets

Could be the iron is being consumed by your plants Which look magnificent

:rolleyes: I have bought from Greenline. A very good selection 'but you must wash the Plants before planting them'. All of the plants I bought from them have flourished.

Just sold two back to my Pet shop they had just grown to big for my tank, The shop owner gave me £20 for each of them. :kana:

Phase 1 as finish, started phase 2 planted about 3 doz assorted plants switch on the heaters lights and filter, now wait until the tank as cycled before I add the fish, I've set the heaters at 80deg F is this temperature 'OK'? Thanks.

PS cycle without fish.

I've not yet decided on which type of fish, I think my wife will have a lot to say about which fish we have, I'm a bit apprehensive about the reverse flow under gravel filter wether to use it or not, any-way I'll decide in the next day or two as to keeping or remove it while the tank as so...

Well at last I can start phase 1, most of the equipment has now arrived I've cleaned the tank placed the ugf in "I intend to use it as a reverse flow" cleaned the gravel 2mm/-4mm size placed it on the ugf ,added the filter a Eheim 2233 not running yet, also the thermostat/heaters 2x100w not...

I've a backdrop on my tank which I cleaned with warm water no additives, cut the backdrop to size and stuck in place with sellotape on the outside of the cleaned glass of my tank

A power gravel cleaner with a long tube and a reverse osmoses water conditioner although this is not cheap

I read somewhere that T5 tubes were mainly for marine setups

of course its wrong to kill any living thing for no reason. how can anyone be that sick as to kill for laughs.?
