The best net-based plant seller in the UK?

As my LFS is almost always completely out of live plants, I was wondering where to shop online for some?

I am in England, so it would have to be a UK based shop. As obviously I want them to be alive when they get here.

I have found a couple of places whilst surfing; 'Greenline' and 'Java Plants'.

I was wondering if anyone uses these places at all?

don't know about the best but I've used java
http/www.java-plants.com/ takes a while to come but cheap

I have bought from Greenline. A very good selection 'but you must wash the Plants before planting them'. All of the plants I bought from them have flourished.

i like greenline, although some types of plants arent very good when you get them - but that will be the same everywhere.

i was looking at a place called birstall - they seem good quality.

Yea, I've been looking at Birstall - quality site if that's anything to go by!

Would be interested to know anyone has experience with this place?

In my experience Greenline are much better than Java, with quicker delivery and better quality plants.

I've had some very good plants from www.aquatics-direct.co.uk in the past. Also I have had success from Java. Haven't tried Greenline because I have no more space for plants!

I agree Greenline is far better than Java.

There are a few UK in the stickied message. Also, this one is a new site. If anyone orders anything from them, let me know how the transaction went and what the plants were like, (note, there are a few non-aquatics on that site so check before you buy!).

I prefer Greenline for quantity and choice, Birstall for quality - they import direct from Tropica.
