im newb to this forum but before this i was on anothe that has not been workin called pirahna fury it is possible to have 2-3 pirahnas in a 55 gal i have a friends on that site that kept them in one for around 3yrs and as long as u have good filtering and keep them well fed they will do just...

a 75 with african cichlids sounds sweet and would look awesome or u know theres always the pirahnas

some discus would be pretty cool but uve already made ur mind up plus discus arent for beginers if u r one as for the oscar in the 55 this does not work well its been tried (by me)not good at all

most likey they will hide when u stick ur hand in the tank and as for netting them well lets say u are gona go through quite a bit of nets with these fish unless ur net is stronger than there teeth lol buy a python vacuum works great for me :good:

yea those look like green sunfish we have alot of those around here if u do a lake tank they look good in it plus they very active

not sure but i dont think so i got some feeders and they dont seem to eat them like crazy they do like beef heart tho

does anyone have any experience with these fish my lfs needed to get rid of 2 so i got them for cheap i know sum of the basics like they get to like 10'' and all that but they r only like 4'' right now so they will be moved when it is time p.s i didnt know were to put this :fun:

shrimp pellets my lfs has 2 in a display tank there are 8-9'' they eat alot of shrimp pelets and most of the other stuff everyone said

yea they gona do way better in brackish i had a tank with some 4-5'' fig8 puffers they were sweet but i sold them to a friend with a brackish setup and they are doin great

man i have 4 reds in a 75 u should be fine doin that u can stick ur arm in as long as u keep them well fed it is also better to put them somewhere so they will get used to u being around that way when u do water changes they will not get as frightend and stir up wat ur trying to clean :good: :good:
