Chris, I had the same problem with one of my tanks. Do the floss thing and also get an internal sponge filter to make the water sparkle. The sponge filter will polish the water and should clear up any cloudiness in a day or two. I would also turn the lights off for a few days as well. Good...

Platys and Swords are great tank mates for white clouds. You really should have more than 1 white cloud though. They are schooling fish from what I've been told and like company. When I added more than 2{6 total} their colors got brighter for some reason. Deb

Sasha, My Gouramis get along well with my Loaches. Check out my signature at the bottom to see who lives with who. Everyone gets along great. I just wouldn't suggest a gold as the one I had BULLIED everyone after he got comfortable in the tank. He turned out to be a real psycho. Deb

They don't eat the plants, but hang out iin them and eat algae off them. You should have them in a group of 6 or so. They stay small......2 inches. Mine are small but have big fat little bellies. And I never see them eat fish food! Deb

Well, one died already. I can't believe it. They were doing so well. I came home fron work tonight and found it hidden beneath a plant. Oh well. Hope the other one makes it. Its at the top of the tank not looking so good. Luckily my LFS has a 14 day guarantee. Deb

I take mine from the bottom as I have heard that this is where the most concetration if nitrates are. I have never had that verified but I believe it to be true. Deb
