    Snail infestation

Hi, I have lots and lots of small snails like the one in the photo. I think I can get them out by using a lettuce leaf or something like that. But my question is, is there a humane way to deal with them? I'd feel bad killing them! :) Thanks!

Thanks everyone for the help. The power came back on Wednesday. So off for 6 days. Rasboras looked a bit pale and they all swimming near the bottom of the tank for some reason. But now they look back to normal and happy. Phew! No fish lost and no shrimps lost (that I can tell).

    Power cut help!

I tried little water changes where the water was a bit warmer but I did it very slowly. Heating the room seemed to be the best I could try. Still off but I hired a petrol generator and it has made life so much easier! Felt sorry for the fish

Hi, I have a Dwarf Gourami, Harlequin Rasboras and cardinal tetras in a 90L tank. I have added 6 Ammano Shrimps recently, they stay hidden in a little rock cave most of the time and I found one dead this morning. I am wondering if the dwarf gourami is scaring them and/or killed one of them. I...

    Plants turning brown/yellow

I think it is 3000-25000 k. I have it at about 15% for red, blue and green and about 8% for white. I have up'd it to 15% for all. Maybe it was too low? So hard to tell!

Hi, I have a couple of Anubias plants and they have started to show some dark patches on a few leaves. I am not sure what it is and if I should do something about it. I have no co2 injection and use recommended amount of Flourish once a week. There is also a dead leaf that I just noticed. I...

    Frozen food cubes

Hi, I just bought some frozen cubes of Red Mosquito Larvae for our fish. We only have a Dwarf Gourami and some Rasboras. Is it ok to slice the cube up and melt it in a cup of tank water, then pour the whole thing back in to the tank? Just heard that some sieve frozen foods first. Thanks!
