Bought a Long-fin Albino Bristlenose a couple of days ago, seems to have settled in well. Really pretty fish and not one I have seen before. My new stocking is going to be, 5 tiger barbs, 4 panda corydoras, 1 bamboo shrimp and 1 bristlenose. How is this sounding? James :)

Thankyou very much for the nomination :fun: Haha, my eddie is a girl, i named "him" after Eddie izzard, because of the izzard lizard thing, then realised he-she was a girl, the name stuck because of the fact that Eddie izzards a cross dresser any-ways James :)

I got this reply after having already bought the tigers, thanks anyways :) I'm not particularly limited on space, i dont want to stock the tank very highly anyways. I may have decided against the crystal reds as the ones they have in the LFS are grade A's and are 5 for £28, i dont fancy...

Well, after 2 years of not having a tank because of focusing on reptiles, I've started again. Not using anything flashy, just old kit. The tank is a basic juwel 24x12x12" tank with the fitted filter box ripped out because the pump on the filter had gone the sponges were wrecked. Got a Hydor...

the tiger barbs probably will nip the fins of the anggel fish and it doesnt matter whether they grow up with neons they will still eat them in the wild they grow up with them and still eat them for their natural food

i dont know much about breeding :dunno: and these are the first things ive ever bred apart from guppys and the odd zebra danio has spawned in my community i was just wondering if anyone has any tips and stuff about breeding these fish like water water temperature and conditioning

thanks about that so a bristle nose it is then im stocking it this weekend and its got a good filter in it already so thanks again and its gonna be really well planted

im unsure :unsure: about what fish to get i want 5 peppered corrys 5 dwarf corrys and a common plec its a 15 gal tank with sand substrate and a rena power filter i think :dunno: would these fish be okay in the tank
