Zebra pleco in east anglia

They are practically unobtainable - full stop. Even to those people with £100 + to spend on one......

yeah i know all the sites dont have any in stock, i am still tempted but then again i dont really want to buy one for 200 quid and it die on me, that would suck, but then again if i saw one in the flesh i might be tempted

it's pointless really. Sorry to say :/
But at this point in time where these fish are on the red list, if you're going to buy any, you should be at least 5 and attempt to breed. By buying a single fish, does nothing to help their dire situation.

The only chance at the moment are breeders and they are few and far between
There are a few about but none have any available at the moment...
(and none in the pipelines either)

We went for different plect to 'practive' breeding with instead - then we'll be able to give them (they prefer small groups) a good home with the intention of breeding them.

They arn't a community tank fish - they dont compete for food and will starve in a tank that has competition as they are so shy.

If your looking for a nice small plec, that is really striking - how about an L134?

it was a rather wishfull thinking thing, and would like to see them as i am sure most people would aswell, that L134 (strange name) what do they cost and are they more redily avaliable ,ive never seen them before ethier

if your interested in a L134 I'm pretty sure there still on the stock lists at work and would cost around £25-£30, don't have another fish order for a fortnight though.

oh yeah OT we now have japonica shrimp in (think thats right!) quite a good size, haven't worked the price out yet though.
