Has it eased off any bit at all???

hes in a 22 UK Gallon at the moment and hes tiny. Moving to a bigger tank in the not too distant future. If I add another 2 CLs will it help or make matters worse because there is no sign of this whitespot clearing

Hey Ive posted this before, but now an update. My CL has whitespot for the last few weeks and recently Ive increased the dosage from half to full. Which did make a difference. His dorsal fin is back up and he seems that bit more happier. Ive created more hiding places for him. Water stats...

Hi gang Came down this morning to see about 20 or so tiny little white / pearly eggs stuck to the glass near the top of the tank. I have Corys, Platys, Gouramis, Tetras, Danios and Neons in there. Any ideas who they might be from??? What do I do now. Should I try and scrape them off...

5 gal bucket I can do, but what about keeping the water warm. Could I buy another heater and stick that in....Any reccomedations for what antibiotics as Im not sure what exactly he has

I have no other tank and no where else to put him. Hes not swimming, but kinda propelling him self along sometimes. Only thing I can do is buy a fry cage and put him into that but he looks so battered.

Yes, especially on the fins. But this thing in head looks like something scooped it out. The other cories are really healthy and have grown since I got them

Its way bigger than a pin hole. Its like you can see into his head. I would reckon its half a cm in diameter and I think his eye is nearly gone

It might be an idea to test one out at your LFS as they can be quite noisy. The cheaper they are, the noiser they be. I got one recently for around €12 and it can get fairly noisy!

One of my CLs has died. One is still alive but it still covered in whitespot. ITs been there 2 weeks now nearly. Ive been using Interpet Whitespot Plus (the one with a CL on the box) in half doses. The CL thats alive seemed to be buried (and I mean buried) under a log for most of the last 2...

I hope they get better too. It amazes me that none of the other fish have got whitespot after nearly a week. My water changes are always treated. The CLs are still very active and eating like horses, granted one is in hiding more than the other! Anyone got any more suggestions?

Some more pics! Water stats once the tank have cycled have remained stable. The CLs only developed this after a water change. The new water was treated (with the same treatment as per many previous water changes) and the temperture remained constant. The CLs were the last fish to be added to...

Tie a bit of string around the 2 magnets. That way at least if it does fall off in the tank you can just pull it up. I bought one of these @ the weekend and it works very well

the carbon filter will take out the "goodness" of the cure apparently. its a brand new tank and the filters are near spotless so is it ok for them to dry out over the next week or so before I put them back in, or will them drying out kill the good stuff in them
