5 gal bucket I can do, but what about keeping the water warm. Could I buy another heater and stick that in....Any reccomedations for what antibiotics as Im not sure what exactly he has

I would probably go with either tetracycline, Kanacyn (or something like that, it starts with kana), or Maracyn AND maracyn 2.

As for keeping him warm, definately get a small heater. I would go ahead and isolate him and leave him in a warm area of your house if you don't have a heater or can't get one today. Where do you live? Right now I know my heaters only come on at night, and thats because I leave all the windows open.

This wasn't my idea, but I saw it in the DIY forum for an instant hospital tank. Use a 5 gal bucket, small heater, and put an airstone inside a small carbon filter bag from the whisper filters (that has been left in your main tank to have some beneficial bacteria on it)

Be sure to take this little guy out tonight, even if you have to crank up the heat in your house. If the other fish nibble on his body if he dies, the disease can spread.
