Eheim2228 with efi substrate and ceramic rings would be ideal and have the other eheim set up with sponges and filter floss.This will polish up the water as you have a highish stock level

Can anyone please tell me what skimmer i could fit to my rio240,without cutting the rear flap??. i have seen the Seaclone+biostar.These 2 would, i think fit if i elongated the rear left hand cut out (keeping at the same depth) thus allowing the skimmer to fit.......... is this so?? I have fell...

hi,just to add to this i had the same problem on my rio 240 after 6 months.It turned out to be a damaged impeller..on the ceramic piece which results in an imbalance hence a rattle. When i stripped unit down for cleaning i would carefully clean out the chamber(once impeller has been removed)...
