Thats where I got mine from in a bundle of 50 plants, most of the long leaves started dieing off and its grown back in a much shorter although brighter green form, may just be my dodgy local water though lol

Hmm I have T5's in my tank too, wonder if thats contributing? My stubby shoots are really vivid green and healthy looking just don't get very long and not spreading like I expected it to. What kind of substitutes to Vallis is there for a long grassy plant to give a jungle look without using...

That's a real shame, was really wanting a good bunch of Vallis for a "Jungle-y" feel to my tank. My Saggitaria is nice and healthy/green and slowly sprouting new leaves up through the substrate but the Vallis is having none of it :no:

I have a substantial sized piece of slate in there holding down a piece of my wood but they see more interested in a piece of wood on the other side of the tank.

I don't know which plants would be best but The Last Trading Post on Ebay do really cheap bundles of plants. I bought a 50pack and had quite a variety of different plants from Red Ludwigia to Vallis and Anubias Barteri amongst others. All arrived in 2 days and didnt have a dead or non aquatic...

I too have both, aslong as you provide enough cover in the form of caves and plants they will each pick their own terratory and stay out of each others way. Ive not seen any aggression between my Rams and Cacatuoides even though there is fry in the tank :good:

Thanks :good: I have a Sony Ericsson Vivaz, has a pretty awesome 8.1MP HD camera and takes DSLR quality pictures without the hassle of a DSLR IMO and I own both. Phones getting on a bit now but the camera is still absolutely epic :lol:

I got a lot of Xmas moss at the moment and its quite slow growing and it only seems to go up rather than out which would mean making the carpet with a LOT of moss to begin with, or is there a moss that will "branch out" as well as shoot up?
