I have personally seen them around about 6 or 7 inches. I would say 8" would be achieve able.

Don't forget Rivulatus do also get white on their tail but orange is far more common so it can be confusing.

They are not called a Green Terror or Gold Saum etc etc the one you have is a Andinoacara Rivulatus, Green Terrors are Andinoacara Stalsbergi. Yours looks to be a male but a better picture will confirm it.

Still heading to the more natural look, some wood removed,rocks reworked and tannins added, i now need to move a few fish to my other tank and do a few other tweeks and i am just about there.

A little update on this, stripped the tank down yesterday and changed the substrate and did a full rescape. Tried to get a more natural look without going for a full biotope.   

it's my old female Nicaraguan Cichlid.

Winemilleri are great Geophagus but they are hardly ever available in the Uk.   Tank and stock look amazing.

Oddballs express should have them bud and they are only in Stafford.

Thanks everyone, chocolates don't seem to pop up in lfs as much as they should, where are you from dougie? The stones are just plumb slate, available to pick up in most garden centres. The lighting I have is one Acadia plant pro and one jewel daylight t5s.

Thanks people. Have recently rescaped it and I think I'm happy with it now. Yeah the juvi is a tetremerus, thats the biggest of 3 juvis I have, getting more colourful each day.

Yeah they are spectacular. I ended up going to around 10 fish stores withing 60 miles and found some great fish but I ended up with the Regani. It's only around an inch and a half and getting along well. The only problem I have now is that my Cuban is trying to initiate breeding with my ebjd!

Well went to ferrybridge then to viscum and then to Leeds south Maidenhead and ended up coming home and buying a fish from a Lfs. Ferrybridge was a lot better than the last time I went. No disease and a goof variety. I was tempted by a few fish there.

The other is a blue Acara.

That is 100% a gt and looks to be a nice one.

P.s. Wills I know of a Regani for sale locally and only 2inch. Going to go upto ferrybridge and a few others this Saturday to see what is on offer.

Not really interested in a gt and definately now a FH. I would like to keep a FH someday as a sole wet pet though.   As said I'm looking for something about 8-12 inches with some colour and must have personality. It cannot be overly aggressive.
