Thanks They have two caves in the tank and yes, most of the digging is around those two places. I am going to split my African water fern as soon as I get a chunk of wood for it and will add more Anubias and Buce.

I started with about a dozen blue shrimps and now a year later I have at least 100 with many many babies. Mine love bug bites sinking pellets and blanched zucchini. Do you have sufficient plant cover for them? Mine are in the moss and doing great.

Ahhh, I didnt realize it was an internal without a siphon tube. I use it over the siphon tube. A few babies get through but mine are reproducing so fast its hardly noticable so i dump them back in the tank

I use semi dense black foam, I worried about it blocking the function but really its the opposite Prefilter sponge is only about $2.50, just grab one of those or do like I do and snip/force a hole through some semi dense sponge
