Thank you. My betta fry just became free-swimming, and after putting a small amount of microworms in the tank, I realized how big (or rather long) they looked. The fry really didn't show interest in them either.

My VT male never flares either. In fact, he's so docile that I can keep him with livebearer fry and he doesn't bother them. (Only when they are first born will he bother them) Your guy is beautiful, good luck with the treatment. :/ Oops, I just read that he's better now - that's good. :) :good:

I have never had a molly eat her own fry before, let alone bother them, so it would probably be safe to let her drop in the main tank. After she drops, you can move the fry to your fry tank, or just leave them with the other mollies, if they don't bother them. I have raised many batches of...

With livebearer fry, it's good to do a 10% daily water change. Also, since mollies need a lot of vegetable matter in their diet, you can give the fry crushed up spirulina flakes, as well as boiled, de-shelled, mushed up peas. Live BBS provides a lot of protein, so if you could feed them that at...

I am not sure. It is pretty young, so I'm guessing not. It doesn't have any bristles though, it's definitely a bristlenose plec, however. I do think it's a female.

Those are ramshorns that you have. I just have pond snails. They don't get as big, but they breed even more readily. I suppose that since the snails didn't eat/destroy the bettas' eggs that I had, they won't bother the krib eggs. (I hope.... :/)

What kind of snails are they? Because I have a million pond snails in my 39 gallon, and my kribs just laid eggs, so I hope they don't eat them... :/ I already took the bristlenose plecs out.... Thanks & congrats. :) -f_f!

I keep a female betta with my kribs. The female, who is very territorial, only bothers the betta if she gets near her at the bottom of the tank. The female betta is stressed though when she is by herself.
