My air pump for my pond has to be rebuilt every year by manufacturer specs. But thats going down six foot deep in my pond. And also has 3/4 i.d. Lines for it. So its hard to say. I dont use one in any of my aquariums. Hope someone will have more info soon

Ok i added the four tiger barbs to my main tank to join my other six. And picked up another four polkadot loach . Fifty bucks.... Lol. They are worth it though. Now i will let them stay in the twenty gal for four weeks then to the main tank. Possibly another five tigers eventually but not sure...

It took that long for it to show up on mine also. Then it turned to black fuzz. I just clean it off every water change. My new tiger barbs seem to like snacking on it also. Good luck!

What are your water stats? Sounds like somethings out of whack. Start by testing water and or water change. Otherwise im not sure. Have not had such a problem. Wish i could help more! Pls keep updates coming. Poor little guy :(

I have had play sand in mine for at least a year now and i have had no problems with it. but i also have it at an inch deep where there are not plants too. from what i know the plants keep it aerated and my clowns love digging in it and moving things around. No problems with my play sand at all...

I have never seen mine show agressiveness when she was alive. my CAE did though!!! finally rehomed him a few months ago. Just make sure they have a piece of driftwood to chew on as they eat the wood as well as algae and you should be fine.

Have had that happend quite a few times with my bristle nose and my clown loaches.. they hide in everything. Thats why i have flat stone to create the caves they like and i check each and every one now when i pull them out just to be sure i dont have a pleco stuck to it!!! Hope your little guy...
