Is your tank well planted? I always find in shops they do this when they dont have enough 'other things' eg plants to go in and out of at speed...

You know something! coments like this are why I dont post very often. Someone always has a snitty comment to make about quality of fish care. Just for the record, these fish are rescue fish, they came from a member of this forum who before Christmas was asking for help as she could no longer care for her tank and she was upset as they were sick. Just for your satifsaction, they are in a large tank 220l not a small box! with plenty of of wood arranged so there are tunnels for them to swim through and heavily planted. It was just they decided to have a mad half hour swimming around the heater, which I thought was funny and thought I would share. I shouldnt have bothered!

That's very funny. I sometimes get similar behavior out of cory. They would ride the current but take turns doing it. Almost like how a flock of birds does...the leader goes to the back and the back comes to the front and they take turns at point...fun to watch! Thanks for sharing, it gave me a laugh.
