I have 6 tiger barbs, 2 bala sharks, 2 red swords, 5 assorted platies, and like 8 blue gouramis. I still need to get rid of some of them. The water was a white cloudiness but finally went away yesterday!!

I have tried EVERTHING (I think) to get rid of the cloudiness in my water but it just stays there!!! I tried drops, ive been doing small water changes for 4 days now, ive cut way back on the amount of food I feed my fish, and I can still barely see the other end of my tank. What could be causing...

Its on my small Platies in my little tank so its not a big deal if its some wierd disease. What is this stuff? Theres this white junk on their side fins and a little bit on their tails. Should I do away with em, or will they heal? Is this Ick?

I know a fair amount about the cycles and stuff already, I have a 29 gallon thats doing really well right now. I plan on getting another 55 gallon and maybe later another 55 after that. One would probably just be a purely planted tank, I think those are really cool.

I just turn mine on when I wake up, then turn it off when I go to bed (about 11 pm) I dunno if thats right or wrong but theres been no ill side effects yet :D

Surprisingly enough, they dont bother any of the fish in there with them. They grew up with the Bala sharks, so theyre buddies :P They bothered the Gouramis for about 5 minutes when I first put them in the tank, but now they leave em alone.

Is Java moss the stuff that grows in the bottom of lakes and has a kinda garlic nasty smell to it?
