What to do with this Pacu?

He's gone completely crazy!!! Every time I enter the room or even walk by he totally freaks out and slams into the glass and rocks, and tears up all the plants. I cant understand this at all. I think he has some emotional issues or something. All my other fish love me and follow me around the tank when Im walking around my room. The pacu just flips out. He already almost lost an eye from hittin the tank, and now he has scars and missing scales everywhere from running into rocks. What should I do? I have to get near the tank to feed them, and I refuse to give up my bedroom for a stupid fish

You might try covering the tank up, so it cant see out. I did this to my Endler tank with a tablecloth. You just sort of put it over the tank and fold it like you're wrapping a present. Then staple it like that and cut a hole in the top for food and air. Then he might settle into his new home and not be so scaredy.

I have had him for about a little over a month, shouldnt he be use to it by now?
