disappearing guppies!

this is a strange question but here goes... i had 2 guppies but seem to have lost one, have checked the filter etc..etc.. but to no avail my husband says the other fish might have eaten it could this be true? it showed no signs of being ill or anything

Im guessing something ate it. I used to have like 10 ghost shrimp (I used them to help cycle the tank when I first set it up) and after I had gotten my Tiger Barbs, a week or so later they all dissappeared. Its kind of wierd because the Barbs were still tiny, and I dont see how they managed to eat 10 shrimp?

could have been eaten by another fish. guppies are used as feeder fish in the states. (sorry!) also could be hiding. had two dovii that i could not find at all. then one day i found this tiny little cave in the gravel and guess who was in there? you would be amazed at the tiny places they can hide.

what else is in with them?

have 2 kissing gourmi's
2 mollies
3 platies
2 bronze catfish
2 bleeding hearts
2 silverbacks
2 hatchetjaws
and i checked the gravel can't see any caves

look for small openings in the decor or under the decor. could be there. platties can turn carnivorous with their young so it could be that they were eaten.
