I have just bought two black mollies for my tank one is swimming round happy the other keeps dropping to the bottom and lying on its its it doesnt look to well what can i do?

I need yor help! I have three golden barbs and one is fatter than the other two. the two smaller ones are fighting and are both constantly chasing the fatter one! I am having an educated guess that the fat one is the female! But I am starting to worry cause this has been going on for hours now...

Thank you, we have got lots of hiding places, but our plec and black knife have them, so im going out to day so im going to get some more bits to see if that makes him a little happier. Thanks for advice

not very big about 2-3 inches max, he has been hiding a lot, the past couple of days i think it is the platti, cos other wise they all get on very well together

um not really no the tank is in the corner, and we alternate beween flakes and bloodworm - are we feeding him wrong, should be giving him other stuff we put in cucumber too.

Thanks Ok was given by local fish shop today about 2.oopm - we go every week and have never had any problems with the water. We have a candy striped plec, black knife fish, 5 neons, 3 golden barbs, 2 angel fish, 2 cathfish, 1 platti and the shark.

We have had our Red Tailed Shark now for about 4 weeks, but the last couple of days his colour has reduced his red tail is not red anymore its gone a very light colour, also the black has faded too - he seems to be eating fine, the temp is ok and the water has been checked today and all was...

Cheers for that, since we put the plec in the ghost knife as been out a lot more! We never used to see him he used to just sit in his rock. We are going to get another hidin place today for the plec but he is just sat in the middle of the tank atthe moment and the ghost knife is still bothering him.

I bought a plec yesterday its like a cream and black colour and the guy in the LFS said it was a vitarious plec or something like that. Since I put him in the ghost knife I have has constantly bee swimming round him and moving him fromplace to place in the tank is there something I need to do...

I normally feed my guys at 22.00 every night been out tonight and only just fed them at 01.15 and my angeks are lookin bad swimming really low touching the gravel and not interested in food is this due to the time and them being asleep??

Poor LFS advice indeed the angels are only small i know they grow but there were bigger ones in the shop! :shout:

Just lost my first ever fish it was a female rainbow plattie. She has been getting bothered for over a week by the male on she then went very quiet sitty behind stones etc. I thought she may be pregnant come in today and she is dead I am gutted first fish I have ever lost only had tank 2 months...

yep looks like 1 of each! female is constantly hiding and not moving much apart from when she is being chased!

Hi All I have two orange platties and all the time one is chasing the other one all around the tank. I have been told by my LFS that he is a little frisky but I really feel sorry for the plattie. Is this normal?? Cheers

Hi I have a new tank and just stated stocking after several water test at my lfs. My fish are fine and tank is doing great but the plant I have put in appear to be dieing. Every time I come home there is leafs floating on the surface and the ones left on the plants are going brown HELP???

Mine is new and staying round 30 the heater is set to 28. The heater doesnt look on does it come on and off when the water changes??
