I think a 10 gallon is a good size for a beginner. In a way the bigger the tank the more work :huh:

im not sure about this i never had a problem like this .. my guess would be clean out the whole tank... but i would wait to someone else responds who had this problem.. sorry

I had 2 mollies in a 10 gallon set up... mine were pretty dull for a day or so when did you add them in? Sometimes they have to get used to the new environment and water and once they do they are great fish. Though my mollies were fin biters.

I always had trouble getting neons out of the holding place the store gives me and into my tank. Many times they die in a couple of hours. Any suggestions how to handle them carefully?

Congratulations man! Just make sure everything is right before you start adding fish. Is it going to be a saltwater set up or fresh water??

thanks I heard they do get big but people have told me they don't live that long because of them being in the goldfish family.

Is anyone familiar with the black telescope fish.. I heard that they are related to the goldfish family. If thats true do they produce as much waste as a normal goldfish would... and one it be good in a 10 gallon by itself?

I always liked Blue... and red. ... like the neons and fish with stripes have always caught my eye

When I clean out my fish tank it stays cloudy for about a day. but if it remians I put something called cycle in it. Its a tub of water you put in the tank to clear up the water and reduce fish loss and stress also you can use ammo lock
