hey welcome to the forum, im 17 too and i also grew up with my dad keeping fishtanks and had my first when i was nine, this forum is really helpfull and interesting theres no better on the net. if you can upload some pictures of your tank to share with us =)

i take it you got the myaxin treatment? it dosnt kill any fish, its fine they will recover in time. the quickest ive had it go is in 1-2 weeks but ive heard it can be more. its not too serious a desease. doing waterchanges can help too

or Bösemani oe ae ue are just a transliteration of ö ä ü from german. like BÄNSCH/BAENSCH enough of the lesson, i think bösemani and irian reds would go great together, opposites

yep commonly known as the threadfin synodontis. they can get around 8" usualy. ive seen some bigger but not too many. great fish

i agree lucy, do a 25% water change every sunday or soemthing, thats what i do, keeps the water nice and fresh and the fish happy. the stocking sounds great, you should updates with pictures when you get the new fish

smaller less aggresive cichlids, a group of rainbows as dither, boesmani or red irian they are the larger ones, synodontis or pictus cats for the bottom,

i agree with you, she shoulve checked and cleaned them all, where i used to work as soon as a dead was spotted it was instantly removed, infact i had to go around every now and then to check.
