whats the survival rate for this??

if they all go then tank goes on its own....

i take it you got the myaxin treatment?
it dosnt kill any fish, its fine they will recover in time.
the quickest ive had it go is in 1-2 weeks but ive heard it can be more. its not too serious a desease. doing waterchanges can help too

Ich's probably the most common disease fish keepers run into. Virtually everybody gets it eventually, it's just part of the territory. I've had it three times, never lost a fish because of it.

Good water quality, good meds, and early detection and it's easily treatable and not grounds for panic, it just takes time. The spots on the fish can't be treated, but after they break, the parasite has a free swimming stage of its life cycle which can be, so treatment can seem quite slow slow and has to be continued at least 1-2 weeks after all the spots are gone.

CopperSafe is the best medicine avalible for ich. The whitespots completely dissappear by the 2nd to 3rd day. No kidding. I've heard it takes up to 2 weeks for other meds.

I've never had ich, but if and when I do, it's going to be salt and heat for me...

The only time I saw ich in my tanks, since I got back into the hobby, was in my QT. In that case I had bought some female bettas in those small cup things and just hadn't seen it until I got them home. I used the heat and salt treatment for a little over a week, then allowed the tank to return to normal salinity during normal water changes. Over a year later I had still never seen a problem with those fish or their tank. By using a quarantine tank, I have never seen ich in my main tanks.

thanks guys

i have only ever lost 2 fish since i sarted my tank which imo is good (danio and gourami)

the rest look fine

mr pinchy is now in the tank with the rest of them (this was before i noticed whitespot)....and hes scared of the fish  sooo hides in the wood
