:good: thanks shelagh . took ages to get them few pics , they are little sods they sit dead still while camera focuses then right at the critical moment they move!! still gotta try to get male krib pictus cat plec/ pleased with the last pic of the acara looking at the camera . hes really coming out of his shell now hes settled in. and what didnt help with taking pics is the sev , as soon as he sees the camera he keeps barging into shot as if hes saying mee mee here i am ! he is becoming quite a character, i rekon he deserves a name

thanks for the pics mark ive been waiting for these ;)
your tank is enspiring me so much! im currently setting mine up and your making me want to keep some gouramis and a blue acara in mine!
beautiful fish, the tank will look even better when those bösemanis colour up and the pearl gouramis reach maturity so your male (which i saw in the pic) will have long trailing fins and a red underside

wow nice comments. thanks a lot. the gourami is starting to colour up a bit lately when the light hits him right you can see his throat starting to redden up . he looks best agaist the amazon sword but at the moment they are getting hammered by my sev he loves em the sod!

yeah i used to have a pair of pearls, they colour up really quickly, u dont even realise.
does the blue acara fit well into the comunity? he is peaceful right?

the blue acara is fine with the others. hes got his little area he likes and sometimes he will dart out as if to say go away this logs mine, but never chases and never aggressive. only had him a week he was nice then but hes colouring up even more already. looks real nice cruising round the tank with his blue spots reflecting iridescent in the light . id reccomend them any day

i ltake you up on that recomandation, thanks alot! looks great, il let the others post now =P

Great pics Mark, the fish look great.

I've got a fish that always wants to be in every pic I take, he's got a name now, Ed a Yellow Acara.

Keep up with the pics.
