yeah I agree with everybody, no way will you get £26. I had an 11" common and tried to sell it for £10 but ended up giving it away for free to someone in my LFS. Also had a foot long Clown Knife Fish which I gave to my LFS aswell.

Saviour! :hyper: I think you may be right, found 1 pic of Velvet Disease on a Betta and it looks exactly the same, it has the white stringy bits inbetween the scales which is what the barbs and parrots have. Will search a bit more but def pretty positive this is it. thanks

are you digging them into the gravel or just sitting them on top? when I had them I just sat them on top with the roots in the gravel and they eventually started to grow

I had the same idea as you and my tank looked alot better but after a couple of months I had to go back to gravel. The argos play sand started to go grey underneath and was really smelly.

Just another message to say that I've just checked the fish and it all seems to be gone again and the Parrots are up and swimming around. This will happen again so please I really do need some ideas as to what it is. thanks

I would say 2 for a 300ltr tank although many people would probably disagree. I have a Gold Sev in my 180ltr along with a Parrot and theres plenty of room for them. I would say get 2 of the same kind though cos I had a green and gold at 1 point and the green didnt let the gold out of the corner.

Me and my brother are getting ghostbusters for the 360 but since sony bought the rights to it it's not out until october or something. Can't beat a good old bit of guitar hero now and again though lol

thanks, I am quite hapy with the set up for once. There was plants in there but the sev always ruins them within a few days so just binned them lol gonna get plastic plants I think.

Well because of there size they just tend to ignore flake so I have to feed them pellets everyday, Artemia pellets I think they are. Have green Mussel pellets aswell but nobody touches them. Also feed them frozen foods every 2-3 days, usually bloodworm.

Well the orange and black one is a parrot if thats what your on about lol others are the fatty gold sev, 2 small gold sevs and another goldy coloured fish thats actually a red devil.

Ouch, always hits hard when you lose a prized fish. I lost a few of my fish last month, cleaned my tank on the weekend, plugged everything back in but the heater and didn't notice till 2 days later or something. Memory is getting bad cause it's happened a few times now lol

yeah those fish are pretty amazing now you mention it. Had a Clown Knife Fish at one point that got to a foot long so had to sell :angry: if i had a massive tank would get a clown knife and possibly an arrowana.

In a fish shop they would sell for that price probs but selling on your own youd be lucky to get half that for him. He's well worth around £50 but doubt anybody will buy for that price unless it's from a shop.
