hi
i have onion plants they survive but dont flurish any tips
 
are you digging them into the gravel or just sitting them on top? when I had them I just sat them on top with the roots in the gravel and they eventually started to grow

When I first planted a few onions, I was worried that one wasn't buried enough. Well, that's the one that flourished. Bulb should be exposed, and it will do well within almost all setups. The standard onion is easier. Natans looks the best IMO.

yes i keep them slightly out the gravel. i have nothing for plants other then light, as all other plants get eaten.
 
I have 2 onion plant they are growing like weeds I have to trim them back. I have a sand substrate with a bottom layer of that clay stuff and I just fert in the sand as well as use flourish excle and I add iron. They love it. Get some fert the flurish stuff is great.

Use fert and it will be happy. How much light do you have. My tank is 1.6 wpg. Seems to be good for them.

light i have 2 30 's in there seems bright.
i also have just gravel.
