Hiya just wanted to ask what are the best plants for Platies and should i add hiding places ie, Pots etc, I have 5 Platies in the tank thats it. :look:

im not sure if there preggers yet im keeping a close eye on them tho!, The male seems to be swiming round alot tonight, dont no if hes after the girls or what, if they have fry is it safe to leave them in the same tank as i only have the 5 platies in there?.

im off to get one 2morrow now, what other fish could i add after i have sorted the tank out?.

i was just going to get 1 male betta but the man at the pet shop said i could have platies, Neons, zebra,tiger fish and a few others i cant remember he said i could keep 20 in there personaly i think its to many was going to get 2 more, but i will deffo look in to upgrading my tank.

the males yellow with red tail, Minnie is the blue/silver one just wanted to no if when she has fry will they come out same colour as dad?. if u get me :blink:

mickey (well i'v called her minnie) is bluey/silver, if she becomes preggers will they take on the male coulor?. :look:

hey guys, I have had my tank and heater on for 72hrs and just wondering if its ok to put a betta in there now?. Also do i need to treat the tank? if so how long after can i stick a betta in there? and what plants do they like?. Karen.

The tanks 4 gallons. i read some were that you can put to in a 4gallon tank. Probs be best having one tho as you say, How much are they about £10 or more?. Any tips on keeping Betta's. Im just starting with the little tanks first then if i get good at keeping fish im getting a big one.
