Nah, you should know by now that fish that cost over £80 go into the tank and spend the rest of their lives hiding under a bit of wood so you never see them, the only time i see either of my gulpers is at feeding time.

As far as i know the glass in juwel tanks is tempered so drilling isn't recomended.

A few people on here have had large custom build tanks from N&D and have been happy with them.

I still use the old 300 but with none of the original equipment and missing its center brace, i think the glass is the one thing that isn't of poor quality.

The tops of juwel tanks are plastic and so silicone doesnt stick to them, the very best thing to do would be to fool some poor sod into buying your tank and then invest in a better quality make like Rena or Aqua One
