    Schooling fish

Also, I've had better luck getting my fish to school if the tank is fully planted, I mean from to back top to bottom. Enough to where you can't see more than a foot, they will usually stay within site of eachother, so if the plants are thick they'll stick closer together. I'm working on a tank...

    Did I make a mistake?

Thank you for your opinion, it makes sense: I'll change to the 20 long, I need to get a hood for that, but I've got lenty of time as these yellow labs are only about 2" long at the time. I do not plan on adding any other fish except a small plec, if I can find one, you can't be picky in Hawaii...

    Did I make a mistake?

I just bought 2 electric yellow, yellow labs. I put them in a 20 high. After reading the pinned article I wonder if this tank is good enough. There are no other fish in this tank. The 20 high that they're in has plenty of hiding spots, I have to large rocks, one is full of holes/tunnels. I also...

Why do people save feeder fish?

my 2¢ worth: Is it better to let the fish get eaten, or starve a fish that needs the feeder. Some fish eat other fish, is a gold fish more important than a Oscar. If you save one cause it's a kewl looking fish, great, but if you save them all, others will go hungry, and, sure, you can feed...

    The neglected turtle

I can't. These are nice people, they are friends, and they love animals. They are just very nieve when it comes to taking care of their pets. I want to tell them but it's hard. Others know this and some have said things, but it's tough, these are really nice people and no one wants to offend them.

How would you like to find one of these

Ok, I think I've seen the cane spider then. Are they big & scary looking and move very fast? Are they poisonous? I've seen centipedes 10" long, knew they could get up to 12" long, are you saying they get bigger than that?

It's just regular air. I ran tubing under the sand in 2 spots for looks and to add oxygen. like i mentioned it's just air. I try to get it so it barly bubles but for some reason it stops after a few hours so I open the valve up more then it gets to be full flow. I'll try and slow it down. I've...

    The neglected turtle

Some friends of my wife had this turtle. They kept it in a 10 gal tank. The turtle was almost to big to turn around in it. They only kept 2 inches of water in it so the turtle couldn't go under water, and couldn't get out of the water. Because it couldn't get out of the water it would get a...
