Great attitude. So my advice is to go down the fishless cycle route, no fish deaths but a bit of a wait untill you can actualy put fish in the tank. The method is in the beginners section. Just spend an hour or so having a read up it will save you a lot of grief later on. Tom

Where did you read that? If a heater short circuits it will blow the fuse or trip the mcb so it wont work at all, in which case the tank will be cold so the fish will be lathargic, not hyper. Tom

I find it rare to see my assassins actualy killng somthing but when I introduce new plants I often find a small shell or two that they have sucked the juicy bits out of. They are like very slow Ninjas. Tom
