RIP Amber I hate loosing fish - i have lost 5 so far and have been devastated by all of them - all are buried under my Acer out the back.

I have one your opaques twin except Clouds blue does not cover all her fins! she is my smallest of my 4 girls and the shyest! i will have to try and get a picture of her to compare!

I made tank orniments for my tanks using some pebbles from a local garden center and some aquarium silicone. You can see it in these Takes a few days as you have to leave the silicone to cure, theres also a pyramid shaped one in my main tank that took a bit longer. :good:

I'm doing my water change in a bit so should I scrap them off then?

it can't be the snails, I picked zebra ones as the require brackish water to breed and nothing new has been introduced in months so it must be something in the tank..

That's a plan in the future but at the minute I don't have any money to spare on a new filter :(

I have noticed I have a slimy substance between the glass and the filter casing in my tank, does anyone have any tips for cleaning this area? Thanks

what are these? I've just noticed them in my tank.... Tank inhabitants are - glowlights and kitty terra, panda and julli cories, female betta and 2 zebra snails. Anyone have any ideas?

i have my females in with glowlights and kitty tetra and its the bigger kitty tetra who are the main fin nippers (one of my females is not missing a large chunk of her tail) my male when he was in there was more stressed out by the speed at which they swim.

one of my girls always has horizontal stripes and one has permenant vertical ones.

He looks fine to me just relaxed, when they are clamped all the fins are clamped and look like string

Hi Yesterday i discovered that one of my females had died in my tank over the weekend, so i did a 70% water change and cleaned everything, this morning i noticed my 2 darker females are displaying their horizontal bars and looking very full - is it possible for them to become egg bound and die...

My boy gets Nutrafin Max Small Tropical Fish Micro Granules because he's fussy and wont touch anything else, my girls get the same as everyone else in the tank - tetra pro colour and hikari algae wafers.

Mine makes me nests all over the place and then sulks when i do a water change and mess them up lol

I have added two zebra snails to my tank and one keeps climbing above the water line, is this normal?
