3 New Females

After loosing both my females, I decided I couldn't live without my female Bettas.. So I went to my lfs
I went straight to the female Betta tank, they all had nipped fins, but nothing that can't be healed with a little tlc

One caught my eye straight away! She was the only opaque girl amongst reds and blues. I think she is beautiful
Then a little red fatty caught my eye! She was a stunning red, so I bought her too hehe
Last but not least, a larger blue/green female grabbed my attention. Her fins are quite large compared to all the others, and her stumpy little ventral fins make me giggle

Yes, they all have nipped fins, and my be VT's, but I think they are all beautiful ..although I'm unsure about the tail type of the red female, could be VT but I'm not sure..
They also live with 2 baby albino plecos which they get along great with!

Also, if anyone has any name ideas that would be great!
The little red girl absolutely LOVES brine shrimp, she went totally spastic for them, so I'm considering calling her Shrimp

Congratulations on your beautiful new girls! I especially like the opaque and the second photo is super with the colour of your gravel I would have done the same thing as you and gone straight out for more! Female bettas are best kept in minimum groups of 5 though to cut down on aggression/bickering in the tank. So you have the perfect excuse to go out and buy at least another two lol

Shrimp is a great name, I had a red/pink Butterfly female called Shrimp

All VT females but so super cute! I generally don't like red bettas but the red female is my favourite... She has such a cute face

I have one your opaques twin except Clouds blue does not cover all her fins! she is my smallest of my 4 girls and the shyest! i will have to try and get a picture of her to compare!

Awwww what cute little girls you have!!! The blue female is so big! You should call her Bertha or Big Momma or something, lol. I think you should name the opaque girlie Ice lol
