The fish is still swimming round and round, i have separated it from the tank, will it be suffering? Want to know so i can decide if its best to put it out its misery or keep it and see if it recovers?

I only got them today so i do not know what they have been fed, all other fish in the tanks they was taken from seem fine and that fish seemed fine up until it entered my tank. I have flaked food and bloodworm pellets that i feed my stock. Thanks for your response.

She looks like one to me, not sure what the babies are i bought yet, some are orange some are black ill try get a picture of them.

I also got 5 babies from a different person, had to put them in the breeding tank as they are still tiny, have ordered a breeding net just incase as the snails keep climbing on the tank, causing it to sink slightly and the babies getting out the top of it lol

I have already read up on the red tail shark and this is what it said: Tank: The aquarium tank recommended to keep the red-tail shark is at least 20-gallons.

I have a 23g tank, thinking of getting a pair of convicts and a red tail shark. Anything else anyone recommends adding along with these? Would cherry shrimp be ok to go in with these also?

I do ive lost about 15 guppies and nitrates was only thing wrong when i took my water to pets at home to be tested lol. I might get rid of the apple snails and get a couple of plecs tho, hopefully they will do a better job at eating algae then the snails are doing.

Thank you i might give some Anubias and Amazon Swords a go, need to get my nitrates down and get some more stock i think before i get them or shal i do the plants before adding more fish?

Ive fiished my water change now ill leave them til next week see what happens, there is another bunch of eggs that have been laid about 2 weeks ago but only about a quarter of what was in the first lot.

the eggs have still not hatched, should i remove them?

The water level its about an inch below where the eggs are. The snail has been next to its shell for just over 24 hours now still hasn't moved. I'm going to do a 50% water change tomorrow as my filter isn't working properly its not going as fast as it should be so ill remove it then if it still...

Should i remove my assassins? Also could it be possible that the apple snail that has died was the one who laid the eggs? I have had these snails since they was tiny so it is first time breeding.

I had this problem also since putting live plants into my tank. I bought a few assassin snails to deal with them =]

Thank you, they are well above water level they are under the glass rim at the top of the tank. Would it be wise to take out the assassin snails soon?
