Thanks drewry but i have just found that its not a tiger plec i have a Peckoltia vittata. And have found sexing and breeding at planetcatfish.com. So i will see what happens :rolleyes:

as miss wiggle has said they like to be kept in groups. I have had pims for years always kept them in pairs or in a group 3 or more. would not keep neons with them as they would be a nice snack for them. i had 5 danio's in the tank with mine at one point now all gone :angry: .

Hi i use fluval filters in my tanks. As doresy said its down to you if you have the bubbles.For me i do as it looks good and sounds great as well. I also think it must add some sort of more oxygen into the tank.

Looking at the pic of tank cant realy tell how big it is. But as i said will have to get another tank when they start getting bigger!!!!! :nod:

Na you will be fine as they are.but when they get older you will need to get a bigger tank.But not for a while. Another thing the female will keep dropping fry so be ready for lots of babies :hyper:

Yeah this is normal for a pair of kribs. When they start to chace othe fish away from the area that they stay in. Then you will know that they are starting to breed. :good:

Hi m8 were is the tank placed, Is it getting direct sun light? This can also make the tank temp rise. If the tank is getting enough natural light then cut down on the time u put the lights on.This helps me through the summer months.

Hi have kept Kribs in the past they do best in pairs.Have only had probs with Kribs when they are starting to m8. They do take over a small area of the tank and make it there own and protect it from any fish.

Hi what catfish do you have in the tank. Alot of catfish do eat small fish "Neons" :sad:

I have a upside down catfish in with my talking catfish no probs yet they have been together for a few months now.Upside down cats are great little guys :good:

Hi poopsydrew. I have a tiger pleco and he is a messy guy.Like you i have lots of rocks and plants so you will find it hard to get all the poo.I clean the gravel 1 to 2 times a week this helps alot to keep the tank looking clean. Good luck with the poo scooping. :lol:
