I didn't think so. But, I solved the mystery before I came to work. Although they looked to big to fit through the slits I found one of my Endlers in the filter. I'm sure when I clean out my filter tomorrow I will find the other. I will get a sponge or something to wrap around my filter intake...

I recently picked up 6 endler's from my local lfs, and added them to my tank with 8 CPD's. Everything thing seems well. The endlers stick together as do the CPDs, and each pretty much keep to themselves. But, the endlers seem to be disappearing. At first I could only find 5, and now only 4...

You have to be careful. You have to make sure it does not have anything in it that will prevent mold & mildew.

Nice. Thanks tolak! I need one for a breeding project. Seems easiest way to seed it is to run it in main tank for awhile. But, are there any other options? Will squeezing one of the sponges from a mature filter on to sponge filter be enough to seed it with bac's?

Thanks David! I agree homemade food is the way to go. Both my wife and I are in the restaurant business. She is a chef at a hotel in Chicago, and I am the GM of a seafood restaurant(is that hypocritical?):S So, when she says cookbooks...we are talking about at least 50-60 books!

Wow! $30 is actually a really good price. The 2 lfs by me that carry them range from $70 - $170. One does sell juvies for $15....no guarantees and they are the size of a quarter.
